Established in 2001, Wings Tyres was founded by Martyn Wing, who wanted to put his 28 years' experience in the tyre business to good use. His son Jake then joined the family business, starting in school holidays and weekends and progressing to full-time after leaving school. Jake then took over management full-time in 2011, and continues to manage the business today.
